PCNames is a site where you can type in word(s) that you want your domain to be and it will tell you if the domain is taken, for sale, or available. The site has become very useful to me here in that past few weeks as I have begun to take action into the buy and selling of domains and sites. That is how I recovered this domain and turned it into a blog. But, PCNames is a simple website no pop-up o banner ads to make you have to search around, very clean 1 page website with the use that it better then most. You can also select to register your domain from a few of the popular domain registars and if you already have an account with them then You are doing great.

I really enjoy the site since I found it, I use quite a few times a day. There is only one real down side to the site and that is it does not have a Whois directly on the site, not really a bad thing but you will have to navigate to another site to get the whois info for a domain.

Overall, I really like the simpleness of this site and use it allot like I said, so with that being said I give PCNames.com a 7/10 for design, coding and usefulness. The 3 points are deducted from the sites rating because of the whois and lack of domains on the list.

Have you ever wanted a domain name and didn’t know where to stat. I have a solution, Godaddy is the #1 seller of domains and You wonder why? Ofcource not because you already know that they have easy hosting with each name, Support staff on call at anytime to take your questions, they are always running specials. The panel has been rated as difficult for new users, so if you register a domain there take a couple of minutes and navigate around the Domain Manager and fer use to all the ins and outs of it. The control panel may be slow loading at times like peek hours, but it is non-the less full featured for all your needs, When you do register you get other features like hosting credits and email features.

I give  Godaddy a good rating compared to what other give it. I say their control panel is something new and easier to use then some of the other.

Its rating is 8/10 for style and innovations.

This forum is a Domain Resellers forum but has many extras. They have forums that you can request developers, hosting, ads and allot more. They also have a section that is for host reviews, which everyone needs when they are about to open a new site or develop one. I like this forum over all the staff are always nice and helpful wwhen you have questions. They also have a place to discuss the different PPC programs and a sit back and relax area.

Domain Auctions, web site sales, hosting reviews, free advertisemnt on certain types of sites, even a section for host to advertise deals and websites. They also have a chatroom that is nice, helpful when asking questions or needing to advertise alil (Active users only can advertise). Chats are not something you see allot when you are on Forums fo domain names forums, but its nice to be able ust to sit back relax and talk about anything.

This site gets allot of my business and with every forum there are there down parts to them. This forum is great for if you want to sell a domain or your portfolio or you website for that matter, but their are not many high rollers there but are a few just depends on what your selling. If you need to pick up a few domains you will find allot of aution starting at $5  or less which is helpful when you are bulk buying domains. When you need to sell a high priced domain or website, You need to have something catchy to put in the forum or it might not sell. They also give you ways to sell domains so if you do not sell it, google cant return the thread and it won’t seem like you tried to abandon you site. Which is something I have not tried yet.

My Personal touch, If you are buying selling, trading, needing content, developers, graphics or something else you can ue this forum for anything. Another feature besides the chatroom being unique, if for NP$ which is their currency you can get, you can buy domains with it. .coms coming in at 400 NP$ which the exchange rate is 1NP$ is $.20 which is low but useful none the less.

Overall: I give Namepros a 9/10, unique forum, features, great staff, and forums for everything.

This is a hosting site that is acually on google and yahoo, Which is good is you are searching cheap hosting. But this is not a post that is all good about them. I will be pointing out some of there worst Features on the site and How bad it is setup, also How their template is messed up, How Support that is “24/7″ is rather slow at responding say 24 hours.

Lets start, When you first see the website you think. “Alright” cheap hosting I can afford but its a shady website for information. I purchased hosting from them a few days ago and was like ok, It was proxy hosting which is really cheap and pretty nice, I ssaw once I logged into the Control panel that they are still o the older version of cpanel. Cpanel 10, no problem its for a proxy site So i set my site up and started looking around some more. I left and today I was thinking about Purchasing their resellers account to host a few other sites of mine. I was wondering about there PHP version since I noticed on my proxy hosting it’s still PHP4 I sent a support ticket asking when the cpanel and PHP was going to upgraded. Their “24/7″ staff has yet to give me a reply on that, though is was sent over 24 hours ago from this post being written.

Another scetchy part is a few other there pages are messed up when you are navigating there website and it seems like it has been that way fo quite a while. I should navigate around better when looking fo a host. Also there Support ticket system is alittle screwed. Instead of you being able to see the answers to your ticket or view its stats for that matter, You get a access Denied. They will e-mail the answer to your with the email you signed up with.

Over all this place is CHEAP, but I would say by far anything from good. They are alroght if you need something quick fast and cheap, but if you want your site to be at its host for a while and all upgraded services. I would highly suggest search around and look for something that caters your needs and not just what you find first to be te fastest.

I give this host a 4/10, bad support, scetchy site, services not upto date, Website not performing right.

Everyone uses google for one of their services, right? They have almost everything a webmaster would need except hosting and cpanel. I would not be surprised if they came out that next. It’s true google has everything you would need, including domain registration, e-mail, maps, and a punch of extra tools you can use.

Google has always been a front runner ever since they opened a few years back, with spiders that work better then most webservers. On top of that they pay quite well if your site has traffic Their adsense will give you the payment you like.

I use google fo everything almost, it has allot with its clean look, speedy servers and tools that make the local auto parts store shiver. I can say google is doing allot better then Yahoo, MSN, and many more search engines are doing, Though I found out they are not ranked first and yahoo is first, I stil give google the number one rating they should have.
